Ken Katz

For over 20 years, Ken has appraised industrial machinery and equipment for Fortune 500 industries that include food and chemical plants, machine tools, automotive and high-tech equipment.

He became the Senior Appraiser for Capital Recovery Group, LLC in 1999 where he developed and expanded a fledgling valuation department into CRG Valuations. It is now a completely independent appraisal division, and has become a benchmark among commercial banks, asset based lenders, bankruptcy attorneys, and investment funds.

Ken returns to Capital Recovery Group following five years on the West Coast where he spearheaded the equipment division of a prominent private equity group’s real estate-equipment venture. He has written several articles for professional trade publications and has been the subject of newspaper and magazine articles.
